Run, Jump, Fly. . .
This year Kyle has learned how to Run, Jump, and Fly, and Fly he does!
He had a Great Track Season, it ended on Friday at the League Finals at Claremont High School. Kyle was the only Freshman in the Finals. He did what he wanted, hung in there with his upper classmates. He has been tagged constantly at meets with, "Hey that's the Freshman!" We are really pleased with his progress. At his final meet for the season he went in with the Freshman record of 11ft 6in, and the meet was set up in 1 in and 7 in marks. So he cleared 11.7 which set a new Freshman record of 11 ft 7 in. Which kept him in the meet for another jump. Then they raised it up to 12.1 And we would like to report that Kyle has NOW SET AND OWNS THE FRESHMAN RECORD OF 12 ft 1 in. Needless to say we were all very excited for him. He has worked really hard this season and the hard work paid off. CONGRATS KYLE!! He was also very happy because his Coach from Mt Sac College was at this meet to watch. So Parents, Grandpa, Siblings, Friends and Coaches were all there to support and cheer him on, Great Job Kyle we love you. The Baseline League Champ is from Alta Loma High School with a Jump of 14.7 . Three qualified to go at the CIF mark of 13.7 , all seniors. The California Poll Vaulting Record is 17.6. It has been a busy year but all worth it in the end!
GO, Kyle, GO-You Run,Jump and Fly!
