Hey Dad,

Things are going great! Things are improving with my companion and we have
been seeing a lot of success which is good. Also we just set a baptismal date
for the 12th of June so that is exciting and the coolest thing about the day
of baptism is that Elder L. Tom Perry will be here and he might even be at
the baptism which would be really cool. But all-in-all things are improving
and I am really happy now and not so miserable. To tell you the truth he
just is really bossy and likes to do everything his own way and does not
really listen to me which I really don't like and neither does President
because I am Senior and I need to be doing what Senior companions do and
with him I really can not.

Well anyways things for the most part are getting better. Well Dad I wish
you good luck on the talk and I know that you will do good you always do.
Speaking of talks I had to give one last week in church and that was way fun
and spooky but I did ok well that is at least what I am hearing from
everyone. So I was happy.

As for food here in Petersburg there is a lot of food from America like:
Carl's Jr., McDonald's, Baskin Robbins, Pizza Hut, etc. But that is nice. But
I really don't eat at those that often. As for at home we have this like
noddle things with meat on the inside and you can either bowel (SP?) them or
fry them and it is pretty good, then we have this thing that is called plov
and it is rice, chicken, carrots, and onions. You fry the chicken then when
that is almost done you add the carrots, and onions and fry for alittle bit
then add rice fry the rice for a little bit and then add water a bowel it
all until the water is gone. It is pretty good but, that is our normal meals.
Because my companion refuses to let me cook because he says that my food is
nasty. But it is because I cook things like an American with very little
oil, and salt and Russians use alot of oil and salt and then I make American
food and he does not like it so what can you do. But anyways that's what I
eat here.

Well papa love you , and thanks for everything

love

Kevin
