Inland Empire Championships

(At Vista Murrieta High School)

This track meet was on April 24, (sat 2010). Kyle had a good meet. He cleared 11.6ft once again and really wanted 12ft. He was the last freshman to remain in that day. The rest were all Sophomores. They ended at 13ft. He was really happy with his progress. At that meet we realized that he needed to move up poles. The one he was jumping with was shooting him out instead of up. Which is kinda dangerous because it was throwing him way at the back of the pads. The coaches and other vaulters are always so nice. One of the coaches helped Kyle and let him use one of their extra poles for that day. He did great with it, So needless to say we were getting the next pole up. But he felt good about his progress and was looking forward to training for the upcoming Prelims for League.
