Christmas Day 2010!
Well Christmas is finally here! It has been a good year. We have been very blessed this year. Kevin is serving a successful mission and is healthy and doing great. Tyler is a Senior in High School and waiting on getting excepted to BYU. Kyle is a Sophomore in high school and looking forward to the upcoming track season. Trevor is in 8th grade and enjoying life as a teenager. Megan is in 4th grade and enjoying being a kid. David is David, things are going well and he is content with life. I love being a wife and mother and am so grateful to be healthy. This was a nice Christmas we enjoyed being together and having family over in the Afternoon. Babies are getting bigger we had 2 new additions to our extended family this year. Danny and Melissa added a 4th member to their family Aidan Joseph Garcia. And Jim and Val had their first Rosalie Lucile Beck. They both bring the wonderful joy to a family. We are blessed to have them join our family. Everyone else is doing good. Kids are growing up and families are changing. Ours seems to be changing the most right now. They are good changes but changes none the same. I just sat for a moment and watched as they all visited and enjoyed hanging out. I felt very blessed a little stressed at times but blessed! I am grateful for the things that come about this time of year. For the peace that comes through the Savior and the joy it brings with it. Joy is such a small 3 lettered word. But it encompasses so much feeling. Joy is what we receive through the Savior and believing on his name. Joy is what there is at the end of a day when you go and check and tuck each child in. Joy is what comes from living the gospel and keeping the commandments. Joy is what comes when a child decides to go on a mission. Joy is what comes when your family gathers to talk to that missionary on the phone. Joy is what we have when all is said and done and you look back on the events of your Life.
