Hey Mom,

Well as you could tell i was not so happy with the weather but as of right now it is just floating around freezing so it is not that bad like is was last week when it was floating around 0. but the snow is still not fun just because it is a pain to walk in. think about the sand at the beach when you are in the real soft stuff that spreads between your toes and everything, it is not so easy to walk in. fortunately here i have shoes on and everything but it is still as hard to walk in as the sand and that is why i don't like it but still as the days go by i am getting use to it and that is what i like. as long as i get use to it and learn to love it like the people that would be awesome. as for steve i wish that i came to look forward for the snow, as well as he is but then i again russian winters are not that fun hahaha. very cold haha.

well as for the baptism it is still on and the kid is so excited and looking forward to it and so is the mom. he just had is interview on monday and passed it, he is doing everything that he needs to be doing in order to be baptized so that is good. i am really looking forward to the baptism and looking forward to the things that will happen after. i can just see that this kid and mom will grow so close together and come to embrace each other. that is the special thing about the gospel and the things that it does within the family. it is a gospel of blessings and truly blesses the families of those that are members and those that are not quiet there. i have seen that everyday and i continue to see it and it grows bigger and bigger everyday. i just love it and the blessings that i have seen bring so much joy and happiness and that i use as a driving force to help keep me going and moving forward to find those that are searching for the gospel and those that are ready and just don't know where to search.

that is my favorite principle of the gospel "how the gospel blesses families" because we read throughout the scriptures how the families in the scriptures were blessed due to them following the gospel and doing everything that they need to. we have the example of nephi, of alma when he used the gospel to help his sons come back unto the faith, Mormon and moroni, and so much more we just see the blessings that come from the gospel just like i have seen them in our family and just the love that we have for each other which i think is not a worldly love but a spiritual love a love that goes beyond the grave do to the knowledge that we have and the things that we have learned that we know we can be to gether forever as one big giant happy family.

well this week has been going good things have been flowing for the most part we have been having to go to st. petersburg alot do to visa trips and registering which is taking away from the work in gatchina but at the same time without these things we could not get to be here and everything. so i understand the reasons why we need to go all the time. but we have been seeing alot of success and looking forward to more as the week goes on as well as the transfer. so i will just have to let you know how things continue to go.
