Hey Mom,
well mom things are going great here and the baptism was really good and everything went great the kid that got baptized was so excited and so was his mom i even had here speak at the baptism and she did a great job. she really has the gospel looked into her heart. well for the most part. haha it is just a funny thing here in russia for some reason or maybe i never noticed it at time but every member here at least in this city love to talk about each other with us for some reason and it is really funny but super frustrating to hear that everyday someone has a problem with someone and it is so depressing. i think that it is because they truly have not gotten down the the great teaching of Chirst in the Book of Mormon in the 13th of 14th chapter of 3 nephi when Christ tells us to love our enemies and pray for them that despite fully use you, and so on. but i think that through time things will start to work out and that this same problems will come down to nothing and then the church here will definitely thrive. but there is my rant for today haha
well week has been good we have met with alot of people and have been seeing alot of success for the most part which is good and i truly enjoy it and look forward to working with the people here. we have an investigator that we are working with that has kind of the same problem as that lady that you told me about but the only difference is that he has not been looking up anti- stuff and then coming to us with questions so that is good. the only difference is that he will not read the Book of Mormon and every time he says he will but he wont when it comes down to it. we have asked him over and over again and he always says yes but in the end when we return the next day he is still in the same place as we left off with him so it is a bummer. but he has a desire to be baptized and everything the only thing is that he can not be baptized if he is not willing to keep the small commitments that he needs to do such as coming to church, reading, and praying. so we are trying to figure out what we can do with him to help him accept the gospel and feel the blessings that come from it. really that is our biggest investigator as of right now the only one that is wanting to progress but cant until he does the simple things. so our field is small but we do have a field and it is white and ready to harvest we just have been having some complications with the reaper. so we hope to see progress with him and some of our other investigators that we have in the next little while but i will have to let you know how that goes. so i will keep you updated.
that is good to hear that everyone is doing good and that Aj, Craig, and mike are also doing good i always like to hear how they are doing and everything, i am just always so happy to know that we all made the choice to go and serve. you will have to pass on a hello and if you could addresses would be awesome so that i can write them and see how they are doing and everything.
well i have to say that that is good that tyler and kyle did good on their finals and that now they can rest for a little bit and soon i will be able to talk to you all which is awesome. i think that i will call December 24 evening for you since you should all be at home but i will have to see and let you know if you can let me know what your plans are so i can plan when i can call and if you want you can tell sister luna and that way i can tell you sometime this week when i will can.
well mom i love you and hope that you have a great day and a great week, enjoy the weather and the break. and have a good one
love always
kevin
P.S. i really like that idea of grandma and grandpa tell them that i will for sure do it and i will let them know how i used it and for who bye. love you
