Christmas Day

Christmas Day is finally here. You prepare, You Decorate, You Bake, You Shop, You send out Christmas Cards, You wrap, You decide what is worth your time and what’s not, You try to bring the true spirit of Christmas in your Home. You try not to over schedule yourself or your kids. And when its all done and time for the big moment, Well this year more than most I tried to take it all in. In the sounds of Christmas, sounds of Excitement, sounds of Laughter, sounds of a Full home, sounds of Children hanging out together. What did this all mean this year. Well it meant that we were all together and we became very picky with how that time was spent. We didn’t go to everything that was provided. We based our decision on what was best for our family. Sometimes that meant that some didn’t understand why we couldn’t be at something’s. We spent time together, We enjoyed the Moments! Our children are growing up faster than I can keep up. I feel like we are in the final quarter and the score is tied. We are running out of minutes, time with this 7 member family. But on the other hand enjoying watching them grow and become these amazing people that they are. It is amazing to watch their growth in the gospel and prepare for missions, and all that life will throw at them. I feel blessed to be their Mom. I am enjoying these moments! Christmas Day was a great day and time shared together.
