Spending time Together
We took our first Havasu Trip last week. It is one of our favorite trips. I love this trip, I look so forward to going every year. We have such a good time hanging out and goofing off together. Its just fun to be together and watch the kids try new things. Or improve on something they already knew how to do. I just love this being on the lake. Being married to David I have been introduced to many things that I have never done before. I'm not always in my comfort zone with things. My least comfortable thing is snow skiing. But I love water skiing. I enjoy being on the boat and watching my children. I enjoy watching them work on something until they get it. I enjoy watching them cheer Megan on. They want her to try everything. For the most part she is a willing participant. She isn't to sure about wake boarding, but she was a good sport to try. I also had to try it to get her to try. And we both got up, its just not my favorite thing to do. I like water skiing. One common tread throughout the trip was that we all missed Kevin. Things are just not the same with him gone. What is even harder is to realize that these trips will continue to have someone missing. Our family is enjoying these moments together. Enjoying the time we have. Knowing things are changing and the Boys will be taking their turns on Missing. Seems like each year the oldest in the group is realizing that things are changing. That things will be different for them soon. But I have noticed that they enjoy their time. And look forward to the next trip. It is hard to watch them go and realize that it all happens so fast. So for now I just want to enjoy each trip and make a great Family Memory. Thanks David for making it possible for us to go on these trips. We really do enjoy them and look forward to them every year.
