It’s 2012, It’s Junior Year, Expectations are High.
Here we go the Season starts, He is off to a great start. At Simplot an Idaho meet he had a pr of 14ft. From there on he wanted it bad. He could taste the school record and wanted it. There are always bumps in a season. Good thing no injuries. He was looking good, and felt good. His coach was there each week helping him. Each week we waited and he worked his way there. At our Home meet this year, He finally did it. On March 28 a Wednesday at a meet against Etiwanda High. It was announced that he had broken the record, Opps not yet!! He was just getting ready to Jump, the pressure was on. But today was the day, He was ready the energy was there and with the school watching and his Biggest Fans his family there. It happened He cleared 14.6ft, “The crowd cheered, his friends yelled, and Yes, HIS MOM YELLED TOO!!! Then he was ready and pumped and the next jump happened and he did it. THE NEW SCHOOL RECORD WAS SET… “14.9fT” We all cheered and Congratulated to New Record Holder. Way to Go KY!!
I love to see RUN, JUMP, and FLY….
