Our Annual Ski Trip
We have been doing this Ski trip every year since Trevor was 2, so for 10 years we have been going together as family during Spring break. The kids just love this trip and its all they talk about after Christmas. When we started going we use to go to Yosemite, with David's Uncle John and his family, and His Grandparents. It was great. We had such fun. We started going to Bryan Head Utah, about 4 years ago now I think we have only missed 2 trips over the years. One, I was pregnant with Megan and really sick. And another year I had surgery and we couldn't go. So for the most part we having been going Megan's whole life. We have a great time, hanging out, playing cards, watching movies at night. And Snowboarding and Skiing all day. I have to admit it's not my favorite trip. But I love being up there. Being together, we have some great memories. Now being a mom has it's ups and downs. One of the Ups is that I'm so happy with this family of mine. Heavenly Father has truly blessed me. My children are totally normal, but I think that they are making some great decisions right now. Getting ready for the future. One of the Downs as a Mom is realizing that your children aren't all children any more. That they soon will be making their own way in this life. On this Annual Family Trip, I realized that this will be the last ski trip where we are all 7 going to be together. Kevin will be leaving in the Fall for his mission. And after that Tyler will leave and the rest just follow. Some(most) of them over lap each other on the mission. So I have to say this was kinda emotional for me. To see all my boys together and know they won't be like that for a long time was very special to watch. They have such good relationship's with each other for the most part. They have their moments where they get on each other's nerve's who doesn't but for the most part they get along. So our Future will be different But, I wouldn't have it any other way... This family is everything to me.. I'm putting together a slide show of all the pictures. It's just taking me long to do than I thought.

hey i feel ya. even though they aren't MY kids. i felt that way with my brothers.. i was kind of young to understand when scott left.. but as i got older i realized that things were different. and even now things are just so different and everyone is on their different paths. its sad, but its good to know that because of all the trips and drives that we went on we have so many memories to talk about with each other when we do finally all get together.. which is BTW every other year... there is always someone missing. i cant believe your kids are that old.. esp kevin. i feel like he's just 12 or something. so weird. we miss you guys.
