Hey Mom,
well i have not read craig's yet but i will. but i know he is just loving it it is by far the best thing that a kid our age can do and i am thankful everyday that i choose to come on my mission. i believe i would have regretted it way to much had i not gone and made this decision not only because of the friends that i have made from not just russia, but the ukraine, china, africa, and many more places but that i have the opportunity to increase my testimony and to feel so close to my heavenly father and have the blessings of the gospel in my life.
can you believe that it is thanksgiving already i sure cant it is so weird and that christmas is just around the corner which is crazy i really love this time of year and the thoughts and the feelings that go around. and how can some one even a member of the church not be so thankful for everything that has been given to him or her on thanksgiving i love this holiday not only because of the food but because it really gives you a chance to thank everybody for the things that they have done for you and to start you off again to remember those and to tell them thank you. now of course that does not mean that you just tell people thank you on thanksgiving but it is the start of the year to help people to remember to say thank you just like sundays help us remember the savior and we even covenant that we will always remember him. . . but see there are times when people forget and then sunday comes around and we remember him again. but that is my little thing about thanksgiving.
well as for this week i have been having a lot of fun things have started to cool down and actually it is really cold and has been snowing for the past 60 hours crazy right it is minus 13 C and is very cold but fun. as for other things transfers have started off great and i love my new companion elder galincki. we are going to being doing alot of work this transfer for we have a lot of work to do. we should have alot of baptisms this transfer and it is amazing we have been seeing peoples lives change and them making the steps toward christ and his gospel and it just brings so much joy. i love my mission i just want you to know that i am always so grateful that i made the decision to go and that i am here in russia and learning this language and now being able to talk for the most part i have been able to help that much more in changing the lives of people and like i said it brings so much joy to me. i look forward to a great transfer and i will continue to let you know how it goes.
well mom you can tell everyone that i say hi and that i love them. and also tell them that i would like to say to everyone that i am so grateful for their examples in serving missions, and being there for me when ever i needed them. i thank them for pretty much being the greatest family a person could ever have.
well love you all and hope you have a great thanksgiving and eat alot of food.
love always
kevin
ps of course mom you can send them my letters! love ya
