Hey Mom,

well things are going great, surprising actually haha, but things are still new and a little weird. still trying to figure out what i need to do and how to do things right and the most effective so i hope that it all works out pretty well. my companion and i have been working pretty hard to get things going in the area since the transfer has began. in fact we have had a great week on the second or third day of the transfer we set 3 new baptismal dates so that was way awesome. the dates are with three Africans from Ghana. i think that is the funnest thing about this area is that we teach a majority of the time in English and not so much in Russian. so i am trying that much harder to keep up on my Russian so i do not sound like foolish when i talk to people on the street or other missionaries or president. but i think that things will continue to go good and that we will have a great transfer.

as for things this week other then us setting the two baptismal dates we have met with a good amount of people, some less-actives, actives, and as well as some investigators. actually funny story about two days ago elder anderson and i were trying to find someone we could meet with and i called this random number in the cell phone under david. well no one answered but then around 5 'o' clock this person called back and it sounded like another investigator of ours so we started to talk to him and then asked him if he wanted to meet with us that night at fontanka (fontanka is a place where we have a lot of activities and a place where missionaries can hold lessons) and he said alright but he did not know how to get there so we told him that we would meet him at the metro and then walk to the building. i was on a split with a member when the guy called and said that he was there already so my companion and another member went to go get him. well it turned out not to be our investigator but some random african named David. they brought him back to fontanka and they gave him a book of mormon and talked to him for a little bit and then he said cool we have got to meet then. and then he left. i think that was another great story of success that we have had from this transfer already. found a new investigator and set 3 baptismal dates all in the first week it was awesome. and we had a great number of people at church on sunday with a total of 80 one of the biggest numbers our branch has had for a long time it was way awesome. we also had two investigators at church one named pasha and the other named David. pasha is from russia and david is from ghana. and they really enjoyed church and actually stayed for all three hours which is great success with them. but we hope to have a lot more success this up coming week.

well mom sounds like everybody is doing great and enjoying themselves. that is always good. and that is weird that megan and that girl had problems like what kind just little tiny problems like the other girl was trying to boss megan around type stuff and telling what she had to do. that is a bummer for megan and i hope that she is okay with that other girl. but then again we already know that she is very talented and that she would have done just a great job had she have gotten in to the talent show right? well it is always good to hear that everything is going good at home and that everyone is healthy and happy well you did not say happy but i know everyone is.

well mom i love you and i also pray for you everyday, i also know that this church is true that joesph smith was a prophet and that thomas s monson is a prophet today. i know that god works through the prophet and that this is his church, the only true church.
