It's Time for Prom!
It that time of the year, time for fancy dresses, matching ties, coordinating rides, flowers, taking lots of pictures, good food, loud music, dancing, laughing, and hanging out with friends. Well, Tyler went to his first dance on Friday Night. He went with Christina from our ward. They had a big group going. Ty's personality is so different from Kevin. Ty wasn't to sure about all of this and having boys sometimes you have to be careful that you don't make it too big. But when all was said and done he had fun and enjoyed going with all his friends. Our stake along with the Upland and Fontana Stakes put together a Junior/Senior Prom. For those unfamiliar this I will explain. The high school dances have gotten really out of hand and instead of kids not going to prom at all, the church has provided a great alternative. As parents it's great to know where they are and know they are in a safe environment. You wouldn't even recognize the church building they are so decorated and they have things planned for the kids. This year it was a Carnival theme. Last couple of dances have been the Oscars, Jungle and Willy Wonka. They are great, the kids really enjoy the theme and its great that we as parents can watch our children enjoy and take part in a high school memory.
These three have been together since they were babies. Here they are just being goofy!
