Its A New Year. . .
Well its a New Year. As I was sitting in this quiet house. Which I'm sure won't be for long. I was thinking about this New Year. Someone once told me that they hated the New Year. I know that it can be hard starting over, changes coming. But I truly do Love the New Year. It's a time to reflect on the past and the things you would like to do over, change, and/or make better. I enjoy that idea of starting again, getting that chance to do better. Just like in the gospel we have the repentance process. Repentance gives us a chance to make thing better. To apologize and make things right. The New Year gives us the same. It's up to us to take advantage of it. I was thinking about my kids and the things that I would and will do the same. And the things I won't, the way I may handle somethings. I want for my children to be Happy and realize that this is a wonderful life. That there is so much they can do and give this world. I Will help them through this path and make good choices that will lead to a happy life. I Will help them see that the challenges in this life are not just here to test them but to make them stronger. I Will help each one of them gain a strong testimony of the gospel, and in being obedient to the commandments that the Lord has given us. I Will give them the strength to go out and serve missions and do the things that will be pleasing unto the Lord. I Will help them know the value of a strong relationship with their Father in Heaven and relay on that. I Will help them strive for a Higher Education and value the hard work it takes to get one. I Will be strong enough in this New Year for the changes coming and lean on my Father in Heaven for support. I Will be a Better Wife, Mother, Sister, and Friend. Whatever new calling I get this year, I Will do my best and find Joy in it. I am grateful for a New Year where we can strive to do Better, Become Better, Live Better, Be Stronger, Love More, Serve More, and Be Thankful More. I Hope that whatever the New Year begins we will all Do Better.

Hi Juls! We had fun with you guys in December--too bad it wasn't longer. Isn't it crazy to think that this year you'll have another licensed driver/dater, a new member of the church, and a missionary all at the same time? Crazy!
YES YOU WILL!!!
As Women of Zion we all should! Thank you for the reminder. Call me anytime for support or encouragement!
Love, Anjanette
